However, having three small children (3) and a full-time job at that time, the decision to enter the catering business was one which the owner made after much deliberation and agonizing of the uncertainty of the future. The early years of the Business was not without its challenges but through it all the organizational focus was on building capacity, capabilities and clientele.

Both formal and informal training in the culinary arts were afforded to all employees, thereby enhancing the Organization capabilities and its signature flavour profiles.

Being a visionary leader and looking to ensure continuity of the Organization, the owner of the business at the turn of the millennium invested in the formal education of her children in culinary arts, management and finance. She also was able to negotiate long term and repeat large scale governmental contracts which are presently being fulfilled by M & S Catering.
